CRAIG CARTER, COMMERCIAL REALTOR®

Craig Carter moved to Gainesville in the early 80s. Along with Michelle, he has owned and operated several successful businesses in the Gainesville area. His business acumen, along with his background in construction, make him a creative thinker who enjoys solving a problem or conquering a challenge.

Craig’s served the community as the elected District 3 City Commissioner, during which time he was appointed to be Chair of the Gainesville Community Redevelopment Agency (GCRA). He is currently Chair of the Gainesville Regional Airport Advisory Board, a member of the Gainesville Rotary Club and the board of the Fisher House, and was recently appointed to the Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) Authority Board by the Governor of the State of Florida.

When he’s not working, Craig is very involved with his church and his family. He and Michelle have six children and eight grandchildren. He loves woodworking, camping, hiking, and canoeing.

DEAN CHESHIRE, MBA, COMMERCIAL BROKER/REALTOR®

Dean was born and raised in Gainesville and grew up in the world of real estate, construction and development where he became adept at commercial lease negotiation and real estate investment. Dean graduated cum laude from the University of Florida and subsequently earned the distinction of an MBA from the Hough Graduate School of Business at the University of Florida. Dean has been highly involved in the community, having held board positions with the Builder’s Association of North Florida, Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Public Policy Committee, Energy Study Group, Alachua County Farm Bureau, Alachua County Board of Adjustment, Preserving Rural Property Values Board, and the Santa Fe College Foundation Board, among others. As a licensed real estate broker, Dean has drawn from his experience and education and has been a top producer since entering the world of real estate in 2005.

When not brokering commercial real estate, Dean enjoys hiking, traveling, and life on the farm with his beautiful wife, children, and the world’s greatest dog.

MICHELLE CARTER, COMMERCIAL REALTOR®

Michelle came to Gainesville in the mid 80’s to attend the University of Florida, fell in love with the area and never left! For many years she worked as Marketing Coordinator for a local engineering firm and also co-owned and managed several businesses with Craig. Owning small businesses gave her extensive experience in customer service and marketing. She understands the importance of listening and follow through, the development of innovative ways to market properties and has the tenacity to see a project to successful closure.

Michelle has served as a chairperson, board member and volunteer for Peaceful Paths and gives of her time to the Fisher House. She loves photography, the outdoors, the beach, her church and her family, which consists of six children and eight grandchildren!
